Georgia Department of Banking and Finance, which appointed the
Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation as receiver. To protect
the depositors, the FDIC entered into a purchase and assumption
agreement with Ameris Bank, Moultrie, Georgia, to assume all of
the deposits of Montgomery Bank & Trust.
