$6.4 Billion - Insured U.S. commercial banks and savings
associations reported trading revenue of $6.4 billion in the
second quarter of 2014, up $0.2 billion, or 4 percent, from $6.2
billion in the first quarter, the Office of the Comptroller of
the Currency reported today in the OCC’s Quarterly Report on
Bank Trading and Derivatives Activities. Trading revenue in the
second quarter was $0.7 billion, or 10 percent, lower than the
$7.1 billion recorded in the second quarter of 2013.
